    no more modem!!

ok, well i've managed to fix the modem problem...for some reason under security tab in my connections, it had lost the default to accept all types of p/words.
however, still have problem with excel. when i go to open it from programs or from the desktop, it prompts me to reinstall office. but, if i open excel from run it opens fine...still prompts you to reinstall it...but after you cancel through it, it runs ok.
all the other programs are running fine and when opening word for example there is no prompt to install anything.
    any ideas anyone...

They are generally people who stink badly, never brush their teeth, pick their noses and eat the snot, and have grown up with foster parents.
