I have designer's block, please critique this site

Arrghhhh!!! So many clients. Anyways, I might get in trouble for posting this link or this project, since my client made me sign a non-disclosure agreement.

I am currently having a designer's block and my brains aren't functioning properly due to this new 71 inch flat widescreen tv I had bought this past weekend. I've been watching DVD movies for the last six days. Anyways, before I start making a different layout or interface, let me get your opinion on http://www.morenikeproperties.com. Should I keep the layout of change it?

All critiques and opinions are welcome.

By the way, I've been getting a few private messages regarding other projects I have done in the past that are not showcased on my online portfolio. If you would like to see few examples, email me at or .

    Code77, this is amazing.

I didn't see any of your other designs yet, but if they are as good as this one, you really have great design skills and "eye".

So, about this design, I think it is OK. You shouldn't change anything in my oppinion, except....what is a resolution? 640x480 or even smaller?
I would create it a little bit bigger ( but i have 1600x1200 resolution on my 19" monitor, so i don't see it as many people do ).

Put another post here when you will have other pages available, so we can see some more.

Otherwise, i really like it, and i don't think you have a designing block as you say.

I do not think it was you wanted to see more examples. It was somebody else. I don't recall who.

Anyways, the site was meant to fit 1024x768 resolution. If it's smaller than that, then your browser will have scrollbars on the sie as well as on the bottom, and that is unprofessional.

1024x768 was the spec they have given me. So I can't really argue with that.

I do not know if I can post the other pages when its available. Like I said, I might get it in trouble for posting this site.

Anyways, my designers block is gone. I cured it by smoking a cigarette and driving around the block.

Thanks for the comments by the way.

I'm on 1280x1024, i tried your site on 800x600, it fits perfectly too without a scroll bar in the bottom. So if you target
1024x768, then I think i could be a bit small.

The design looks great, i like it, it's simple but straight forward to the point. Well done, can't wait to see its completion

1280x1024? geez thats to high. my screen resolution is set to 1024x768 and i believe thats the standard size. in addition, it looks fine on my monitor. not that small.

the higher your resolution the smaller the things are in ur browser. thats why 92 percent (based on about.com last years poll and research ) of the internet surfers set their resolution to 1024x768.

here's the result. if i can remember

    age 15-24: 1152x864
    age 25-39: 1024x768
    age 40+ 1024x768 (83%) 800x600(17%)

i guess the older we get the lower the resolution is. remember it doesnt mean that the higher the resolution ur monitor the sharper the graphics is

anyways, enough of the blah blah crap thanks for the nice comments, jake.
