DesignLoad and Procartoonz

So should I be running scared and putting in a dispute with my cc company?

I see on here that there are many dissatisfied customers of Designload.

On Tuesday I purchased a membership to one of their subsidiary sites, Procartoonz.net. As of today I still dont' have authorization nor have they responded to any of my questions regarding when I will be authorized.

For those who actually have been successful in getting an account from them, how long did it take for them to authorize you?

Are they having any further problems with the denial of service attacks that they were having?

You should try to get in contact with procartoonz.net. Try their Live Support or try their Contact Us page.
Other then that i dont know of anything else you could do.

Best regards - MJM

Thanks for your suggestions, I have tried contacting them via both methods with no response.

Designload -- DO NOT PATRONIZE!!!

:(

I see that I should have posted sooner.

I have been a designload "customer" for less than a year. It took constant emailing them before they issued my password, which was approximately two weeks AFTER I paid them for a basic membership.

After about 2 months, I was no longer able to access the site. I emailed and sent messages via the website for 3 MONTHS!!! Then I did a search on their company and found that they had ripped-off many, many people, and they must have gotten the wrong group p.o.'d because they were getting hammered so hard by these vindictive victims, that they had to block 8 ISPs. EIGHT!!!

After creating some general hubbbubb on several forums, including this one, I along with several others pounded them for explainations. In less than a week, I was able to log in, and begin to use my account again.

BUT IT GET'S BETTER!!!

After about 3 months of uninterupted service, I upgrade to "professional" membership, an additional $50!!! In less than a month, not only had my account not been upgraded, but I had to email dozens of times, until I finally caught someone on the LIVE CHAT option. As intolerant as they sounded, they eventually updated my account, and I was able to use the account that I paid for.

BUT DON'T TURN THAT DIAL JUST YET!!!

It was probably less than two weeks before I could no longer access their server....AGAIN! I hit the forums again, some people were have problems, others were not. I didn't care at that point. My entire experience (including the insulting one extra month's worth of use to compensate me for my inconviencences), with Designload.net had pushed me to the breaking point.

FOR 3 MONTHS I emailed, and at all times of the day and night, tried to catch an "operator" for a LIVE conversation, but to no avail. Then, Peter, the lame-o who owns this company emails me and says that I can't log in because I stopped payment on my upgrade. WHAT A CROCK!!! I called my bank (just to be sure...), and even they couldn't get these blatant offenders to honor their end of things.

I emailed them in late November (from a different email address because they had blocked the one I signed up with) and told them they had until mid-January to reinstate my membership or refund ALL OF MY MONEY!!!! ALL OF IT!!!!

Well, it comes as no surprize that they have ran off with the cash, blew off my bank, and left me high and dry. Not only did they not reinstate my professional membership, they did not reinstate my basic membership either!!! I promised them that if they did not do the right thing, I would post to every forum, and webmaster resource that I could to spread the word about these cybercrooks.

DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM DESIGNLOAD.NET, or any of their many other sites and partner sites. We need to send a clear message to these cons that stealing money, and blowing off customers will not be tolerated. And since they are based out of a foreign country, I suspect they think that grants them immunity. It may in terms of any legal prosecution, but let's see how immune they are to poverty!!!

And please, if you surf other forums, let this be known. I can't hit them all by myself. This company must not be allowed to do this any longer! Feel free to post this particular post on any forum you feel will benefit from the information.

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY VILORDS, DESIGNLOAD, and their other media sites. And kindly let their affiliates know exactly what these folks are up to.
