asp.net authentication through AD
Hello!
I am new to ASP.NET, would like to learn and am still learning, so the question is:
i know that it is possible to authenticate a user through an Active Directry, but I need smbd to tell me if this is hard to do, how to do it and if it is wise to do it ?
I am developing a website for our company, and some useres ( partners ) will have an access to partner pages. I would like to authenticate them through AD as they allready have accounts in it and I would like to avoid multiple user account databases.
So, if anyone knows how to do this and is willing to help me i would be gratefull.
