Some thoughts
Hey guys!
I was wondering, is there going to be any companion site ( i think you call it that way in english ) for this forum?
What i mean with that is we could have some site with some functions but the forums would still be the core of this community.
For example:
- portfolios
- tutorials
- news from the world of web desing and development
- book reviews that could be halpful to users of this site
- a section where maybe some wise and "famous" people from this industry could have some tips&tricks
- etc
Well i don't know what are your plans for this site, still, it is better to develop it slowly and good than quick and bad.
These are just thoughts....
And a question about server hosting this site.
Forums are sometimes loading quite slow ( not disturbing, but still ). What connection has this server? Is it maybe the database that is slow?
Just some of my ideas....

Thanks for your suggestions.
That's definitely a good idea. We really want to build this community bigger and to be more useful to visitors. However, to be honest, we don't have many staffs on board at this time to work on other projects other than this forum.
However, we're always looking forward to expand our site widely, so we're continuing recruiting members on board to help us out. So anyone who's interested in joing our team. Please let us know.
iValueHost, LLC is our sponsor for hosting this forums. They're a well-known hosting company with great reputation for reliable hosting solutions. Actually Jake (Jake330), 1 of our moderators, is the owner of iValueHost. Their servers are on premium network, and I think it's one of the best in the US here. It always loads very fast for us here. You're in Europe, could it be a problem??
Here's some info on their network
It is a complete Cisco product and is a Cisco Certified Network. We utilize Cisco 7500 and 7200 routers as border routers, Cisco 6500 series switches in our distribution layer, Cisco 6500 and 5500 switches in our aggregation layers, and Cisco 3500 and 2900 series switches at the customer layer. Our network is fully meshed and redundant with 6 backbone providers. Our current network consists of ATT (OC3), UUNet (OC3), InterNap (2x100Mbps), Qwest (1Gbps), and Cogent Communications (5x100Mbps).
Cheers
